DISCO 2020 - the first single from the Stilla Havet’s upcoming third album.

The year was 1995 when Pulp released the legendary hit "Disco 2000", a song that has since pulled us out on narrow and pulsating dance floors. At the neighbor's afterparty in, in a cellar in a Polish mining town. Sit dancing at a Karaoke bar in Taipei. Now we have neither been able to gather nor dance for one year, everyone on their own solitary and tarred. Stilla Havet packed Jarvis Cocker's oblique bangs in the car and driven towards the new world in the spring of 2020. Here, the suburbs of the southern states are burning in racial hatred and the gravel is dusty by crushed TV success stories. Virus crisis and riot police; the roads are straight, the dreams hard to believe, but hope, immortality and the rental car rush forward at 60 miles/h.

Disco 2020 is the first single from the Stilla Havet’s upcoming album "Samtiden sliter oss isär”. The album is sprung from the landslides after the collapse of civilization, produced in Italy, designed in Berlin but written and recorded within four walls in Stockholm. Modern dance rhythms, sharp synths and pumping bass. The Stilla Havet has never been more here, now and then, than on "Samtiden sliter oss isär”.
